Students

Benji joined Sherrard Kuzz LLP as a first-year summer student in 2023 and returns in 2024. He is a Juris Doctor / Master of Business Administration (JD/MBA) candidate at the University of Toronto.

A champion mooter and accomplished student, Benji won the prestigious National Labour Arbitration Competition in February 2024, and the Andrew Alexander Kinghorn Fellowship being in the top 10% of his MBA class.  He has also held the positions of associate editor for the Indigenous Law Journal, working group member of the David Asper Centre for Constitutional Rights, participant in the Hockey Arbitration Competition of Canada, and research assistant.  Prior to law school, Benji completed an Honours Bachelor of Arts with High Distinction from the University of Toronto, in Peace, Conflict and Justice with minors in European Union studies and political science.

In his spare time, Benji enjoys canoe camping and theatre.  He is bilingual, English/French.
