Students

Anne joined Sherrard Kuzz LLP as a first year summer student in 2022, returned in 2023, and will article with the firm in 2024-2025.  She is a Juris Doctor candidate at Osgoode Hall Law School where she is President of the Osgoode Labour and Employment Law Society and an eager mooter.  In her first year of law school Anne’s excellence was recognized with the Cassels Brock & Blackwell Prize for Ethical Lawyering in a Global Community, the Ivan Cleveland Rand Prize for Public & Constitutional Law and the Samuel Rubinoff Prize for Legal Research and Writing.

Prior to law school, Anne attended Queen’s University, where she completed a Bachelor of Arts in history with a minor in political studies and a Master of Industrial Relations. In both degrees, she graduated with the highest academic standing in the program. During her time at Queen’s, Anne worked at the student grievance centre as a grievance officer and director. She was also a teaching assistant for the courses, “Employment Law” and “Workplace Policies and Governance.”

After graduate studies, Anne acted as a Labour Relations & Human Resources Advisor in the public sector, where she partook in collective bargaining, policy drafting, and grievance administration.

When she is free from her books, you can find Anne hiking the trails or searching for the newest local exhibit or restaurant to support.
