Students

Emma is thrilled to join Sherrard Kuzz LLP as a first-year summer student in 2026. She is a juris doctor candidate at Queen’s University, where she volunteers with Pro Bono Students Canada and keeps her competitive spirit alive on the intramural volleyball court.

Prior to law school, Emma earned an Honours Bachelor of Commerce in Integrated Business and Humanities, summa cum laude, from McMaster University.  She also worked with the non-profit organization, Pathfinders Fellowships, where she led the recruitment of more than 60 summer students, managed team projects, and oversaw Google Ads compliance.

Emma is passionate about travelling and enjoys exploring different cultures and food. She is a proud descendent of Arthur Guinness, founder of the Guinness Brewery, but much prefers chatting over an ice-cold latte.
