Alyssa Gillespie Muzyk
(she/her)
Alyssa joined Sherrard Kuzz LLP as a first-year summer student in 2024 and returns for her second summer in 2025. A juris doctor candidate at Osgoode Hall Law School, Alyssa is an outstanding student and mooter. Her many accomplishments include:
- Clifton H. Lane Memorial Prize in Property Law
- John McCamus Prize in Contracts
- Fogler Rubinoff LLP Prize in Property Law
- Dean’s Fellow in Contract Law
- Borden Ladner Gervais Professional Excellence Award
- Stewart Saxe Memorial Prize: Highest degree of interest and academic excellence in labour and employment law (of course!)
- Ron Ellis ’09 (PhD) Prize in Administrative Law: Highest standing in Administrative Law
- Sir Jack Jacob Prize in the Administration of Justice: Highest standing in Class Actions (shared with Matt A. – yay team)
- Dean’s Fellow in Civil Procedure (Legal Process)
- Quarter finalist and first place oralist in the Lerners Cup Moot
- First place oralist in the Constitutional Law Moot.
Alyssa also received the following awards from the Monroe E. Price Media Law Moot (Oxford University international moot):

Prior to law school Alyssa spent six years working in both the non-profit and higher education sectors. She completed her undergraduate degree in International Relations and History at University of St. Andrews, and her Masters in Comparative Education at University of Oxford.
When not immersed in law, Alyssa can be found desperately attempting to exhaust her energetic Bernedoodle or watching Real Housewives.
