Jacob joined Sherrard Kuzz LLP as a first year summer student, returned for his second summer and articles with the firm in 2019-2020. He is a graduate of the Juris Doctor program at Queen’s University, where he was an active member of the Labour and Employment Club and a Volunteer Editor for Queen’s Law Journal. Jacob won third prize in the Walsh Family Law Negotiation Competition, held at Osgoode Hall Law School.
Prior to law school, Jacob completed an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at York University where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. There, Jacob was involved in social psychological research and conducted two research studies examining attitudes and prejudice. The results of his research have been presented at an international psychology conference and published in a peer-reviewed academic journal. Jacob was also a Peer Assisted Study Session Leader teaching statistics to undergraduate students.
In his spare time, Jacob enjoys travelling, reading short story collections and attending concerts.
