Daniel joined Sherrard Kuzz LLP as a first year summer law student, returned for his second summer and will article with the firm in 2020-2021. Dan is a graduate of the Juris Doctor program at Queen’s University, where he was Volunteer Editor for Queen’s Law Journal, an active member of the Labour and Employment Club and was awarded the Queen’s Law Prize in Labour Law.
Prior to law school, Dan graduated from Carleton University, in Journalism & Political Science, where he was on the Dean’s Honour list. He has also served as Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of National Defence and Multiculturalism, summer intern at Rogers Sportsnet 590 The Fan, and assisted in the successful unification to two political parties in Alberta.
A modern renaissance man, Dan is a fan of political biographies of presidents and prime ministers, sports, canoe tripping (he once spent 52 days in the Arctic), swimming in Ontario’s northern lakes and skiing Canada’s Rocky Mountains (who can blame him…).
