Christina Tang

Christina joined Sherrard Kuzz LLP as a first-year summer student in 2020 and returned for her second summer in 2021.  For her articles, she will clerk with the Court of Appeal for Ontario.

Christina is a Juris Doctor from Queen’s University. In her first year of law school, Christina’s hard work and dedication earned her an unprecedented number of awards and prizes:

  • Dean’s Gold Scholar Award (top student in her year)
  • BLG Professional Excellence Award
  • Fasken Martineau DuMoulin LLP Prize in Torts
  • George Normal Leipnik Award in Professional Responsibility and Skills Training
  • R.W. Leonard Scholarship in Law

  • Queen’s Law Prize in Constitutional Law
  • Queen’s Law Prize in Criminal Law
  • Queen’s Law Prize in Introduction to Legal Skills
  • Queen’s Law Prize in Torts

In her second year at law school, Christina continued her excellence and was awarded the Dean’s Bronze Scholar for her year, as well the Chief Justice McRuer Essay Prize in Law, and a course prize in Mental Health Law.

In her final year at law school, Christina won the  Medal in Law (Gold Medal) for highest overall standing over the three years, the Dean’s Silver Scholar Award for second overall standing in the final year, and the Feminist Jurisprudence Award.

Prior to law school, Christina graduated with distinction from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Commerce.

In her spare time, Christina can be found learning Korean and American Sign Language, listening to kpop, and experimenting with vlogging.
