Students

Ashley joins Sherrard Kuzz LLP as a first-year summer student in 2023. She is a Juris Doctor candidate at the University of Toronto, where she is a 1L representative for the Labour & Employment Law Society and an associate editor for the Journal of Law & Equality. Ashley also volunteers in the Employment Law and Academic Appeals division at Downtown Legal Services, where she serves as the first point of contact for prospective clients.

Prior to law school, Ashley completed an Honours Bachelor of Arts with Distinction from Queen’s University and received the Medal in Sociology for graduating with the highest academic standing. She was an executive member of several extracurricular organizations and served as Judicial Committee Chair at the Alma Mater Society.

In her spare time, Ashley enjoys reading, discovering new cafes, and obsessing over Taylor Swift (yep, she’s a Swiftie)!  Ashley is bilingual, English/Korean.
