Aicha Raeburn-Cherradi

Aicha joined Sherrard Kuzz LLP as a first-year summer student and returned for a second summer in 2020. For her articling year, Aicha will clerk with the Federal Court of Appeal in Ottawa.

Aicha graduated from Queen’s University – Faculty of Law with the Bronze Medal for third highest standing in her graduating class.  Among her many prizes for academic excellence, Aicha was awarded the Feminist Jurisprudence Prize, the Queen’s Law Prize in Contracts, the Queen’s Law Prize in Legal Skills, the Sherrard Kuzz LLP Prize for the highest standing in labour, employment and administrative law, and the Dean’s Gold Scholar Award for the top student in second year.

Prior to law school, Aicha graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree and a minor in economics.  She also worked for two years in the banking industry before joining a local Toronto not-for-profit as an employment specialist.

Away from law school, Aicha and her partner are parents to a rambunctious toddler and beautiful border collie.
