Ashley B. Brown

Ashley is a skilled lawyer whose practice is dedicated to providing proactive and practical advice and representation to management in many areas of employment and labour law.

Ashley’s expertise includes:

Ashley regularly conducts seminars and speaks at conferences about employment and labour issues and has taught employment law at Conestoga College.

Ashley is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, Ontario Bar Association (Labour & Employment, Education, Civil Litigation, Constitutional, Civil Liberties & Human Rights, Workers’ Compensation, Young Lawyers) and Law Society of Upper Canada. Ashley also serves as a volunteer member of the University of Toronto Social Sciences and Humanities Research Ethics Board.

Prior to joining Sherrard Kuzz LLP, Ashley practiced management-side labour and employment law at one of southeastern Ontario’s premier full-service law firms. She studied law at Queen’s University where she received a number of awards for her academic achievements. Prior to attending law school, Ashley obtained her Bachelor of Arts from Nipissing University in Sociology and Psychology.
